Giving gifts to each other especially on Christmas day is practicing what happened on the day that Christ was born where three wise men presented gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. When is Christmas celebrated? 25 December is a day when Christmas is celebrated according to the Western Calendar and churches. Although the month and date of the birth of Christ are unknown but the churches in the fourth century fixed the date as December 25 which corresponds to the date of the winter solstice on the Roman calendar.
