SINGLE LADY O JA KE ENG (WHAT’S BOTHERING YOU)?

Host: Apostle Khomotjo Lebelo (Apostle K)

In their dress code ‘shorts and shades’ single ladies came looking vibrant in pink and dusty white as per theme request. “Single Lady: O jewa keng?” is an event that was held on the 05 October 2019 at Mokopane Game Breeding Centre.

The aim of the event is to directly deal with the stress of single ladies. The host of the event, Apostle Khomotjo Lebelo (Apostle K) said the ministries that she lead such as the couple’s ministry; young girls’ ministry and recently single ladies - gives her the opportunity to teach about what she has learnt over the previous years.

“My ideal with single people is that you need to be in progression while you wait for marriage. My motto is that you don’t wait for marriage to advance your life, advance your life and if marriage happens, then it sure will happen,” she explained.

“I always say to single ladies that you cannot control the person you’re going to marry, you can only prepare yourself by being the right ‘wife’.”

Single ladies ministry is for females who are 22 of age going upwards. Single ladies ministry caters for single mothers, divorcees, widows etc.

With a Degree in Applied Theology and being married for over 17 years, Apostle K has all the necessary information needed for relationship guidance although she said Single ladies ministry is based on self-education.

In her lessons, she mentioned different types of single women:

-Bitter single ladies

-Desperate single ladies

-Healing single lady.

-Bleeding single lady

-Spiteful single ladies

-Angry single ladies

-Victim single ladies

-Revengeful single ladies

Apostle K added that most ladies also experience daddy issues, where a father might have left you which may lead to frustration. Therefore your partner might have to suffer in account for the mistakes of your father.

“I am a marriage counselor, and a counselor in general. I get in contact with many single ladies and get to hear what they’re going through including their challenges. Most of the topics that I share come from what they’re experiencing. This is not only based on an individual, it’s a general view because I speak to many ladies.”

“This was the second session of single ladies we have had this year. The first one was in March. At the first session we had many ladies saying they were not interested in getting married. But after the session, they all changed their tunes because I am taking them through a journey of self-discovery. I am taking them nicely on a journey of healing.”

Apostle K said she plans on hosting three events of Single Ladies every year. The date for the third event has not yet been confirmed.
