A Promise With An Oath

Hebrews 6:13 - God made a promise to Abraham and there is no one greater than God, so he made the promise with an oath in his own name. God always fulfill the promise with an oath. God trust a promise that has an oath and He also honours the promise with an oath. An oath that he made to Abraham was an indication that He would do what he promised.  God has made a promise to us that He will bless us. All we need to do is to trust that He will surely bless us. Verse 14 - He said, 'I will surely bless you. I will give you many descendants.' Abraham waited patiently for this to happen and later he received what God promised. For God to bless you, you must wait patiently unto his promises. People always use the name of someone greater than themselves to make a promise with an oath. Because an oath proves that what you say is true, and that there is no more arguing about it. Always make sure to make a promise with an oath.  When God made that promise with an oath to Abraham, h...

DISOBEDIENCE

Isaiah 42:19 "In all the world, no one is more blind than my servant. No one is more deaf than my messenger. No one is more blind than my chosen people, the servant of the Lord."  In this era and times we are in, Christians have become deaf, we no longer listen to God, we are too blind, we can't  see what God is doing. God is doing a new thing. He is moving in a different phase, only those who move by the spirit of God will be able to hear and see that. Most people who are too blind are those who claim to know God. We are so caught up in seeing what we want to see and what the world wants us to see than what God wants us to see. We know what we ought to do, but we do not obey that. We hear with our ears but we refuse to listen to God. God wants us to do what is right, He wants us to honour his teachings. Let us not allow the devil to defeat and steal our teachings.  We are so full of fear that we even forget what the word of God says about all of this. And th...

World Mental Health Day

Image
This year’s World Mental Health Day, on 10 October, comes at a time when our daily lives have changed considerably as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The past months have brought many challenges: for health-care workers, providing care in difficult circumstances, going to work fearful of bringing COVID-19 home with them; for students, adapting to taking classes from home, with little contact with teachers and friends, and anxious about their futures; for workers whose livelihoods are threatened; for the vast number of people caught in poverty or in fragile humanitarian settings with extremely limited protection from COVID-19; and for people with mental health conditions, many experiencing even greater social isolation than before. And this is to say nothing of managing the grief of losing a loved one, sometimes without being able to say goodbye. The economic consequences of the pandemic are already being felt, as companies let staff go in an effort to save their businesses, or...

Horse Vs Ostrich

JOB 39: 13-25 ■Horse  ☆Horse has strength.  ☆It is able to jump like a locust. ☆It snort so loudly that it scares people.  ☆It is strong it scratching the ground with its feet. ☆It laughs at fear; nothing makes it afraid. ☆It does not run away from battle. ☆The horse gets very excited and races over the ground. When it hears the trumpet blow, it cannot stand still. ☆It can smell  the battle from far away and hears the shouts of commanders with all the other sounds of battle.  This is how Christians should treat the gospel that God has given unto us. Let us not forget that we are in battle. Let us always open our ears to be able to hear the voice of God.  Let us always be alert at all times. Always be aware of your surrounding and the era that we are in. In this era that we are living in, we need to behave like a horse. This is the time to be strong and the time to draw strength from God. ■Ostrich  ☆An ostrich get excited and flaps its wings, but cannot...

Never move away from the grace of God

Isaiah 29:15, Look at them! They try to hide things from the Lord. They think he will not understand. They do their evil things in darkness. They tell themselves: 'no one can see us, no one will know who we are.'  Verse [16] 'You turn things upside down. You think the clay is equal to the Potter. You think that something that is made can tell the one who made it, "you did not make me", This is like a pot telling its maker, "you know nothing."  Once you move away from the grace of God, the devil will expose you. The grace of God is the one that is always covering and protecting against all shame that the enemy try to bring in your life. The grace of God is like a skin protector. Always make sure you are under the covering of the grace of God because in the covering of his grace, no weapon nor arrows that the enemy form against us shall prosper. No harm the enemy bring shall touch you. You will always be safe under his covering. Everything you do know tha...

The 6 Types of Bosses You'll Meet in Your Career Managing up requires constant communication and interaction with your boss. To do that most effectively, you have to be aware of her leadership style—the way she prefers to communicate, manage, and interact with others. For example, she might prefer to be directly involved with employee projects and receive daily updates on their progress. Or she might have a more hands-off style, opting to let direct reports take projects and run with them.  Similarly, maybe your boss prefers email to keep electronic records of every conversation—or maybe she'd rather you just pop by his office, rather than send her a message from two doors down the hall. These might seem like minor details, but by interacting with your boss in the way he or she prefers, you'll be more effective—with the ultimate goal, of course, of making your boss more effective. Below, we outline a few of the most common leadership styles, inspired ...

#WednesdayWisdom  TITTLE: THINGS TO BE GREATFUL FOR   Job 5:9 - People cannot understand the wonderful things God does. His miracles are too many to count. ■He raises up the humble. ■He spoils the plans of the smartest people so that they will not succeed. ■He catches the wise in their own clever traps. ■He brings an end to evil plans. ■God saves us from the hurtful words of the wicked. ■He gives us hope. ■He corrects us through his word. ■He bandage our wounds when we are injured. ■He heals us when we are hurt. ■He protects us from the sword of the enemy. Job 4:17 - A person cannot be more right than God. People cannot be more pure than their maker. What we should know at all times, is that there is no one above God. Let us learn to submit under his will. For he always has plans for us. He has created us for his purpose. The bible says:  We live for him. We need to accept that we no longer live for ourselves but Christ lives in us. Our spirit belo...

#WednesdayWisdom  PAIN & SUFFERING IS ALL PART OF THE RACE  Job 2:10, "How can we accept all the good things that God gives us and not accept the problems?". If we can accept the good that the Lord does for us, we must also embrace the bad and trust God to come through for us. When bad things happen to us, it's just a test to prove if indeed we trust God. When troubles come, it's not the time to complain and doubt God but it is time to stand firm in your faith and trust the power from above. In time of suffering, it is where you need to be able to use the word of God , it is time to practice what you've invested in your life. It is time to rise and show what you are made  of. It is time to unleash all power and authority God vested upon you. It is time to unleash all the prayer you've planted. Don't let anything move you away from the presence of God and his grace. Be blessed. - Pastor Hunadi Lebudi

#WednesdayWisdom Job 1:21 When I was born into this world, I was naked and had nothing. When I die and leave this world, I will be naked and have nothing. The Lord gives, and the Lord takes away. Praise the name of the Lord. When things in your life seems to fall apart and when life gets confusing, keep your faith. When things get complicated, never lose hope. Just know that it will all come to an end. It is time for your faith to be strengthened. It is where you need to show your trust in the Lord. This is where your character as a child of God is tested. When things seems to fall apart in your life  just note that it's still at night for you.  Psalm 30:5, His anger last for a little while, but then his kindness brings life. The night may be filled with tears, but in the morning we can sing for joy. Let us not miss our morning because of the night. There is always ight at the end of the tunnel. Even the book of Ecclesiastes states that there is time for ev...

HOW TO GET THINGS DONE IN 5 WAYS "don’t try to do everything or even a lot of things by quantity, but focus your time on quality – i.e., what will have the most impact." Productive people are not better people – they make better choices and smarter decisions about how they spend their time. Here are five ways productive people manage time differently: 1 – Focus on what matters Productive people are clear about their most important priorities – on the job and in their lives. Today’s work environment is busy for everyone. Productive people don’t try to do everything or even a lot of things by quantity, but they focus their time on quality – i.e., what will have the most impact. You too should prioritize your list of everything you need to do in terms of what will have the most impact on your professional and personal goals. In this time of high unemployment, you may want to focus on shoring up your on-the-job performance (use this job security checklist ...

#WednesdayWisdom  Proverbs 26:13-14  13* Always correct children when they need it. If you spank them, it will not kill them. 14* In fact, you might save their lives. Being corrected is beneficial because human beings are bound to make mistakes as the body is made of flesh and flesh carries sin. Allow God to correct you. The bible says, "God correct those He loves." Corrections will make you wise because they teach you to do what is right. After learning you will feel good inside and out.  Your language will also change for the better. 23* Truth, Wisdom, Learning, and Understanding are worth paying money for. For us to live a fulfilled life, we must obtain truth, wisdom, and understanding from the word of God. For us to have those, we must study the word, mediate upon it and obey it. Because the bible is God's inspired revelation of Himself, it contains the mind of God. It is His way of communicating with us. It brings teaching, rebuke, corrections and solu...

CORONAVIRUS: WHAT IS DEXAMETHASONE and HOW DOES IT WORK? An anti-inflammatory drug called dexamethasone has been hailed as a ground-breaking treatment for hospital patients seriously ill with Covid-19. A UK trial showed the drug could save lives - the first internationally to do so - and it can be used in the NHS immediately. What is the drug? Dexamethasone is a steroid - a medicine that reduces inflammation by mimicking anti-inflammatory hormones produced by the body. How does it work? This drug works by dampening down the body's immune system. Coronavirus infection triggers inflammation as the body tries to fight it off. But sometimes the immune system goes into overdrive and it's this reaction that can prove fatal - the very reaction designed to attack infection ends up attacking the body's own cells. Dexamethasone calms this effect. It's only suitable for people who are already in hospital and receiving oxygen or mechanical ventilation - the m...

CAREER BUILDING vs JOB HOPPING For previous generations, having one employer for the duration of your working life was the norm. You’d join company X and then move vertically or horizontally within the organisation until you hopefully receive a golden handshake when you reach retirement age. The current employment scene, however, looks very different – with far more movement between different companies. While having multiple employers over your career span has become the new normal, for some people, their rate of changing jobs is more frequent. Unfortunately, this is sometimes viewed in a negative light. According to talent strategist at Regent Career Architects, Lerato Nxomani-Pakade, employers consider job hopping to be when an employee changes jobs within a 12-18 month period. This can be problematic for organisations. “Companies are concerned that they will spend money training you and you may leave before the payback period. This is the period after which the val...

BREAST MILK HAS NO LINKS TO SPREAD OF CORONAVIRUS Breastfeeding mothers do not seem to be passing on the new coronavirus to their infants, a World Health Organization (WHO) expert said.  “So far we have not been able to detect live virus in breast milk,” Anshu Banerjee, the senior advisor for WHO’s Department of Reproductive Health and Research, told a press conference. “So the risk of transmission from mother to child so far has not been established,” he said, adding that only ‘fragments’ of the virus had been found in breast milk." Title: Law vs Grace The meaning of the law: Abraham had two sons. The mother of one son was a slave, and the other mother was a free woman. Abraham's son from the slave woman(Hagar) was born in the normal human way. But the son from the free woman (Sarah) was born because of the promise God made to Abraham (promised child). This paint a picture for us ~ These two women are portrayed as the greement between God and us his people. One agreement is the law that God made on mount sinai. Remembe...  people who lived under the law were slaves. The mother named Hagar was like that agreement. In this case, Hagar represent people who don't know God, who live under the law. But us, believers, are like the free woman (Sarah) Isaiah 54:1 "Woman, be happy! You have not had any children, but you should be very happy. "Yes, the woman who is alone will have more children than the woman with a husband." Here's what the Lord meant >>> we are like chil...

EVERYTHING RISES AND FALLS  IN LEADERSHIP   Pastor Hunadi Lebudi  The church was not called to follow the government's instructions but to follow what the bible says. We must ask the word of God to approach a nation epidemic. The church is the only institution that was instructed by the bible to work with the appointed authority from above. But it seem like we are not trusting that power that was given to us through the word of God. Everything rises and falls in leadership: Leadership is what God has ordained us to be in a first place when he created us. But it seems as if we have forgotten who we are. Leadership is what defines us as the church. Leadership is our first character that God has given us when he created us. But to my surprise, we are taking a back seat in everything. Fear and lack of faith  is what keep us from taking our positions. We are afraid  and not trusting this great power and authority that God has given us. We will never see...

"THERE IS NOTHING THAT IS TOO BIG FOR  OUR GOD" Pastor Hunadi Lebudi Joshua 1:9 says, "Remember I commanded you to be strong and brave. Don't be afraid because the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." In the midst of what we are currently going through as a country, it is essential for us as Christians to know our God and the power  He contains. There is nothing that is too big for our God. Some things God allow them to happen so that His greatness can be revealed. He is waiting for us to say, "Father, we have tried on our own but we failed. We need you Lord," and He will then intervene. In the midst of all let us be brave and courageous. It is the time to seek more of God. It is where we need to go deep in prayer and seek the face of God. He will surely come through for us. Our God is faithful  and just. It is time to be still and know that He is God and He is able. It is time for us christians to go back to our God and ...

TITLE: THE DEVIL DOESN'T HAVE POWER BUT TRICKS  Pastor Hunadi Lebudi  The devil deceives us not because he has power but because he uses tricks and strategy. When dealing with the devil, you need the word of God and his wisdom. Remember when he tempted Jesus in the book of Matthew. The scripture says "he tested Jesus even though he knew that Jesus has power and authority. But still he tried his tricks." Matthew 4:8-9 says, "again, the devil taken him up into an exceeding high mountain, and shewed him all the kingdoms of the world and the glory of them. And saith unto him, all these things will I give thee, if though will fall down and worship me." That was not power but tricks. He was trying to trick and confuse Jesus. He was aware that everything belonged to Christ. How can you offer someone  something that they already possess? The devil defeat us because he first brings fear, confusion, strategy and then his tricks. When dealing wi...

Real Talk with Fifz Rising from poverty!!!!!! Dr Emmanuel Mohlapi  What comes to mind when one speaks of poverty? Is it sleeping without blankets or going to bed on an empty stomach? Is it having no shoes or clothes to wear? Some might relate with these questions while others might have never experienced going days without food. We all have our struggles and problems that we fight on a daily basis for a better future. And while there are different kinds of poverty we need to break the chains of self-pity and know that the world owe us nothing!!! The first poverty and the most common of them is when we find ourselves unprivileged to basic needs because our parents cannot afford but they work for, at least, two jobs to fend for our needs and take us to school. It is at this stage where we learn the sacrifices and desperation for a better future for us. The second poverty we find is an inherited and generational poverty. That one poverty where a...

TITLE: FIVE PROMISES OF RESTORATION  Pastor Hunadi Lebudi  First promise: The church has fallen and ost its dignity. The church has lost it's mandate but the time had come for God to set it up again. Let's allow God to fix and repair us as the church. God promise to set it up as it was before. Second promise: God is restoring us as individuals and the church to posses and dominate. He is restoring the church to take its positions, to possess what is yours which is inheritance. God created us to have dominion. Let's occupy our primary purpose which is to dominate. Remember we have been given power and authority (Genesis 1:26) Third promise: This is a time of a great blessings for us. But let us work hard so that we can also harvest when the time to plow arrives. Stop the laziness (Proverbs 6:6-8) says: "You lazy people, you should watch what the ants do and learn from them.7: Ants have no ruler, no boss, and no leader but in summer, ants gather al...

Rekindle Love in Your Relationship Will recalling the good times, minding your manners, listening attentively, inquiring deeply, and shaking it up romantically really make a difference? Is it possible to rekindle the spark that originally brought you and your partner together? Do you remember the feelings you experienced when you first started dating your spouse or partner? Perhaps you felt excitement, attraction, and anticipation? Chances are you were exceptionally attentive, polite, and considerate with this exciting new person in your life. You likely made an extra effort to be on your best behaviour. As the relationship has progressed, how well have you maintained those initial feelings and behaviours? It is human nature to highly value a new love interest and to treat that person with great care and respect. Unfortunately, it is also human nature to become complacent and to take people for granted as time passes. Just as a child may excitedly treat a new toy as prec...
