The 26 year old Founder of PaulDave Foundation, Karabo Mokgosi has donated at least 30 pairs of school shoes to Dagbreek Primary School learners in Phagameng, Modimolle.

Mokgosi said that this was something they had initiated few years back but due to unfortunate circumstances they kind of stopped.

"We just wanted to get back into our giving spirit especially with the knowledge of how things have changed. Covid-19 has made a huge impact in people’s lives, some parents lost jobs, others their salaries got cut so we just wanted to help out with the little we could,"she said.

When asked what the Foundation wants to achieve by this kind of gesture, Mokgosi responded that they wanted to,"make things a bit easier for the parents when coming to the children’s uniform but also just to make them feel special. Some of this children haven’t had brand new school shoes in a while so one can only imagine how special this was. Lastly to show them that there’s someone who loves and cares about them".

In celebration of International Women's Day, Mokgosi sent her message to all the women saying: "We are the most precious jewels on the planet. Powerful and amazing in all shapes and forms, believe that! Because it’s true.

I literally said that because I believe in the importance of sisterhood but also the importance of women knowing their worth because when we get to do so we will be able to get the courage to do all that we have been created to do on the planet. I love my fellow sisters."
