The 6 Types of Bosses You'll Meet in Your Career Managing up requires constant communication and interaction with your boss. To do that most effectively, you have to be aware of her leadership style—the way she prefers to communicate, manage, and interact with others. For example, she might prefer to be directly involved with employee projects and receive daily updates on their progress. Or she might have a more hands-off style, opting to let direct reports take projects and run with them.  Similarly, maybe your boss prefers email to keep electronic records of every conversation—or maybe she'd rather you just pop by his office, rather than send her a message from two doors down the hall. These might seem like minor details, but by interacting with your boss in the way he or she prefers, you'll be more effective—with the ultimate goal, of course, of making your boss more effective. Below, we outline a few of the most common leadership styles, inspired ...

#WednesdayWisdom  TITTLE: THINGS TO BE GREATFUL FOR   Job 5:9 - People cannot understand the wonderful things God does. His miracles are too many to count. ■He raises up the humble. ■He spoils the plans of the smartest people so that they will not succeed. ■He catches the wise in their own clever traps. ■He brings an end to evil plans. ■God saves us from the hurtful words of the wicked. ■He gives us hope. ■He corrects us through his word. ■He bandage our wounds when we are injured. ■He heals us when we are hurt. ■He protects us from the sword of the enemy. Job 4:17 - A person cannot be more right than God. People cannot be more pure than their maker. What we should know at all times, is that there is no one above God. Let us learn to submit under his will. For he always has plans for us. He has created us for his purpose. The bible says:  We live for him. We need to accept that we no longer live for ourselves but Christ lives in us. Our spirit belo...

#WednesdayWisdom  PAIN & SUFFERING IS ALL PART OF THE RACE  Job 2:10, "How can we accept all the good things that God gives us and not accept the problems?". If we can accept the good that the Lord does for us, we must also embrace the bad and trust God to come through for us. When bad things happen to us, it's just a test to prove if indeed we trust God. When troubles come, it's not the time to complain and doubt God but it is time to stand firm in your faith and trust the power from above. In time of suffering, it is where you need to be able to use the word of God , it is time to practice what you've invested in your life. It is time to rise and show what you are made  of. It is time to unleash all power and authority God vested upon you. It is time to unleash all the prayer you've planted. Don't let anything move you away from the presence of God and his grace. Be blessed. - Pastor Hunadi Lebudi

#WednesdayWisdom Job 1:21 When I was born into this world, I was naked and had nothing. When I die and leave this world, I will be naked and have nothing. The Lord gives, and the Lord takes away. Praise the name of the Lord. When things in your life seems to fall apart and when life gets confusing, keep your faith. When things get complicated, never lose hope. Just know that it will all come to an end. It is time for your faith to be strengthened. It is where you need to show your trust in the Lord. This is where your character as a child of God is tested. When things seems to fall apart in your life  just note that it's still at night for you.  Psalm 30:5, His anger last for a little while, but then his kindness brings life. The night may be filled with tears, but in the morning we can sing for joy. Let us not miss our morning because of the night. There is always ight at the end of the tunnel. Even the book of Ecclesiastes states that there is time for ev...

#WednesdayWisdom  Proverbs 26:13-14  13* Always correct children when they need it. If you spank them, it will not kill them. 14* In fact, you might save their lives. Being corrected is beneficial because human beings are bound to make mistakes as the body is made of flesh and flesh carries sin. Allow God to correct you. The bible says, "God correct those He loves." Corrections will make you wise because they teach you to do what is right. After learning you will feel good inside and out.  Your language will also change for the better. 23* Truth, Wisdom, Learning, and Understanding are worth paying money for. For us to live a fulfilled life, we must obtain truth, wisdom, and understanding from the word of God. For us to have those, we must study the word, mediate upon it and obey it. Because the bible is God's inspired revelation of Himself, it contains the mind of God. It is His way of communicating with us. It brings teaching, rebuke, corrections and solu...
