ED's LETTER   WELCOME TO THE MONTH OF LOVE! Life happens to all of us but we should never take permanent decisions in temporary situations ~ Kholofelo Teffo   A time to celebrate love is upon us. This the one element that a human being can't live without. In the next coming days, we will be updating articles featuring different ways in which LOVE is involved. We normally see Valentine's Day being celebrated by couples only or this very month reserved for couples, I then asked myself gore what happens to Singles? Families? Colleagues? The Church? and so on. We've been in lockdown for almost a year now and most of us have shifted from showering ourselves with love and those amongst us. We worry about where the next meal will come from...how about we pause just for this month and love ourselves, celebrate ourselves and life with ourselves? "Don't love because of beauty or money but love genuinely without any cause and holding back."  Love is unconditional...

WE LOVE THE SMELL THAT'S COMING OUTA KITCHEN...MUST BE CHEF PHUTI, RIGHT?  "Cooking came naturally to me. I’m a self taught cook..." - Chef Phuti The 26 year old Chef, Phuti Sylvia Matsimela in her kitchen getting ready to prepare a meal for a client.  It is normally on birthdays or weddings or funerals when we call special catering in our homes. Women can attest to the fact that they get tired from standing in front of the stove almost every day having to prepare a meal for the family or even themselves (single ladies, etc).  You may be a housewife or working mom or whoever but the truth is you would really appreciate someone coming in to take over that role at least for a day or two especially if you're not a fan of takeaways - just strictly home based cooked meal.  We hangout with the 26 year old Chef, Phuti Sylvia Matsimela to take us through her food business that is based at Mahwelereng Zone 1 in Mokopane, Limpopo.  "Cooking came naturally to me. I’m a sel...

AMBITIOUS, EMPOWERING AND HARD-WORKING - NTJEZIRO MOSIMA (21) "With the current youth unemployment rate and economic growth, I would love to see young women taking the lead and breaking the chain of poverty...", Ntjeziro  There is nothing as soul refreshing and mind cooling as seeing young women in our continent, Africa, taking responsibility for their own lives. We can never stop preaching women empowerment because that will be the end of women realizing the power that they possess.  We were proud and quite inspired when we saw Ntjeziro Mosima from Modimolle making it to Top 5 of Miss Township SA recently. Young as she is, she was the only one who came from Limpopo province and we knew then that she deserved to be covered.  Although she didn't win the title, she said that will not end her beauty pageant journey. The 21 year old describes herself as an ambitious, empowering and hard-working young woman. "My journey does not end here. I would love to see myself being...

A MINUTE WITH A DJ/PRODUCER, TOKOLLO MUKWEVHO Exotik is a versatile Dj/Producer from a small town called Mookgophong in Limpopo. The name "Exotik" comes from the word "exotic". The name came when I was in high school from a Geography subject. I felt it suits me perfect as I was doing things out the ordinary. I didn't like doing basic things so as a Producer/Dj the name was perfect for my style of play and how I make beats.  I don't really have a specific music genre  but I'd say hip hop because that's the genre I  started with when doing music.  I have an EP, called Gemini Man that carries 4 songs. My favourite song has to be "Siyekeleni" because I enjoyed the process of making it and the energy was pure there. I'm a lunch person...  'The name " Exotik" comes from the word exotic . The name came when I was in high school from a Geography subject.'  For future music release updates, you can add Exotik on his pers...

REMAINING POSITIVE IN THE NEW YEAR EVEN DURING THE PANDEMIC. ..   "The loss of anything is not a good experience but losing your powers is a great loss as you lose your being." A certified meta coach that focuses on women and their total being,  Motshidisi Letloenyane The pandemic has affected businesses, organizations and individuals differently. To some, the change by this pandemic created trauma. You ask yourself, will the worst happen in the new year or what to expect? This can lead you to approach the new year with fear, of which is not a state that will help you to be your best and do your best.  Look for encouraging words to say to yourself, the words that will awaken the best you, inside of you. To speak life to yourself. Remembering that there is more to life than one particular year where you felt very much out of balance. If you decide to use 2020 to approach the new year, use it to take out the best out of you, not to destroy you. What can destroy you ...

A Promise With An Oath

Hebrews 6:13 - God made a promise to Abraham and there is no one greater than God, so he made the promise with an oath in his own name. God always fulfill the promise with an oath. God trust a promise that has an oath and He also honours the promise with an oath. An oath that he made to Abraham was an indication that He would do what he promised.  God has made a promise to us that He will bless us. All we need to do is to trust that He will surely bless us. Verse 14 - He said, 'I will surely bless you. I will give you many descendants.' Abraham waited patiently for this to happen and later he received what God promised. For God to bless you, you must wait patiently unto his promises. People always use the name of someone greater than themselves to make a promise with an oath. Because an oath proves that what you say is true, and that there is no more arguing about it. Always make sure to make a promise with an oath.  When God made that promise with an oath to Abraham, h...
